To begin, read determining your skill level. Knowing your current skill level will help you select appropriate classes for the weekend. This also helps us assess if the classes you've signed up for are a good fit.
Each day there are two instructional sessions, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. During each session there are a wide range of classes and paddling tours offered for all skill levels.
Check out selecting your classes & tours & suggested progressions for guidelines and suggestions on making your schedule. Then have at it! Read about all our classes and tours, and sort by skill or time to help narrow down your choices.
Note: Pre-registration is required for on-water classes, on-land workshops, paddling tours and youth programs. Brown Bag Lunch Seminars do not require pre-registration.
When registering you have the option to choose a first and second choice for each session so keep this in mind while browsing. Use the bookmark feature to help you build your schedule.

"You introduced my husband to kayaking in a better way than I ever could have."
"The best part about the symposium was being in a community of paddlers in a supportive atmosphere. I prefer solo paddling and getting away from the crowds but I was touched deeply by the positive energy of so many leave-no-trace, silent sports people."
