  . Dubside

Traveling coast to coast and internationally as far away as South America, Asia, and Europe Dubside has made a living kayaking for over ten years. He got his start making instructional DVD's on Greenland rolling and rope gymnastics in 2006. Well known in traditional paddling circles as the man in black who makes it look so easy, he maintains a regular presence at Greenland-style events throughout the year and has attended the Greenland National Championships over a dozen times where he has been a competition judge since 2010.

 35 Different Kayak Rolls
Pool - Clarion Hotel Sat 12:00pm-12:20pm

Watch Dubside, a veteran of the Greenland National Championship, go through the competition list of 35 rolling techniques, some of which may be extra challenging in a small pool. He will also throw in a selection of favorite tricks and stunts from doing rolling demonstrations worldwide for over 15 years. Added bonus: he'll pronounce the names of each maneuver in Greenlandic.

 Modern Greenland Kayaking
Killarney - Clarion Hotel Fri 6:30pm-7:15pm
Killarney - Clarion Hotel Sun 12:30pm-1:15pm

Eveything your always wanted to know about the skinny stick paddle, the people who fanatically espouse its use, and the country where it originated. Drawing on twenty years of experience, Dubside covers paddle strokes, rolling methods, skin-on-frame kayak building, harpoons and hunting tools, the unique Greenland language, Inuit culture, U.S. Greenland-style events, plus the noteworthy people, equipment, locations, and terminology of this centuries-old tradition that shows no sign of disappearing.
