Whether you're going paddling to spend an afternoon on the local lakes, going out to fish, or going on an extended trip, canoes are a great way to enjoy the water. This two day class will teach you how to paddle and maneuver a canoe, on water rescues and water safety skills and give you a chance to paddle to go on a short trip. By the end you'll be able to control a boat with confidence and enjoy the waters of Madison and beyond!

Each person attending Rutabaga classes must read and sign the Waiver of Liability form and the Student Health Info form. Please download each form for each participant and bring the signed documents with you when you come to class. Thanks!
